Nothing says winter like a cup of warm apple cider. The smell of cinnamon and cloves comforts me through the road rage and holiday crowds. The process isn’t quite as complicated as baking a croissant, but life is too busy for me to drag out a pot, buy the ingredients, toast the spices, and wait for it to heat to just the right temperature. Luckily at the bakery, we brew mulled cider every Friday and Saturday, so I can bring a cup home (or shopping!) with me. Don’t worry, we also brew it at the Cafe; stop in on your way to the mall to soothe holiday stress!
