The scenery at Schooley’s Mountain Lodge looks beautiful in autumn, making it the perfect location for a bridal shower. We provided the perfect menu with quiches, sandwiches, salads, desserts, and even a mimosa bar!

Schooley’s Mountain Lodge in Washington, NJ
Decorating the Schooley’s Mountain Lodge
We brought in these beautiful tall lanterns and lots of pumpkins for this fall-themed shower. The lodge was the perfect setting for this cozy bridal shower.
Each table had a small arrangement of gerber daisies in mason jars, plus our delicious chocolate caramel apples (the perfect favor for any autumn event).
Here’s another view of the setup in the lodge. This space can fit up to 150 people with space outside on a porch, as well as an outdoor chapel area for a wedding ceremony! Since this event was not for a wedding, we didn’t visit the chapel, but here are some photos from their website for reference.

We have Schooley’s Mountain listed as one of our preferred venues for Pierrot Catering, and we’re looking forward to weddings and more events at this beautiful location!
Bridal Shower Brunch Menu
Now on to our specialty – the food!
Brunch is really the best of both worlds. We featured our delicious quiches — the Spinach Tomato Feta quiche and Primavera Quiche (with zucchini, yellow squash, broccoli, tomatoes, and mozzarella cheese) — and the luncheon catering menu of wraps, sandwiches, and salads. Add a fruit platter, and it’s the perfect party!
Don’ forget dessert! We had some fall flavored macarons (pumpkin, salted caramel, and chocolate), chocolate mousse shooters, cannolis, assorted brownie bites, and mini cupcakes!
The guests loved all the options, and we loved sharing our favorite things with them! The chocolate mousse shooters and macarons are perfect for the gluten free guests. And the assorted brownie bites let you try a few different options.
Mimosa Bar
This is a new favorite for bridal showers. While the host provided the champagne, we brought all the juices and fruit!
For some specialty options, we went beyond orange juice with grapefruit, pineapple, and cranberry juices. Then topped those glasses with strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries!
