If you’re hosting Thanksgiving this year, you’ve probably started thinking about your table decorations. We put together a dessert display to show off all of our delicious pies and cookies, and we wanted to share all the supplies and tips so you can pull one together for your own party.
Depending on the number of guests you’re inviting, you may not think you need all of these desserts… but every get-together is better with multiple pies, cookies, and cakes! And this way, there’s something for everyone.
Wondering what to do for your next housewarming party? Our platters of sandwiches and wraps are a great option for drop-in guests with different tastes! Order a brownie bite platter and some cannolis to round out the menu.
Moving out of the Sussex/ Morris County, NJ area? You can still have Cafe Pierrot make all your favorites. Stefanie (daughter of CP owners Rick and Laura) and her new roommate planned the perfect party – for their apartment in Manhattan’s Financial District.
Obviously, Stefanie didn’t want to use another caterer. She was already in Sparta for the weekend, so she picked up her sandwiches and desserts and drove them into the city!
They picked up a few extra chips and pumpkin salsa, and got rave reviews from their guests.
Perfect Housewarming Menu
Since this was an October event, the ladies added to the sandwich platters with some cozy favorites:
You could also add quarts of soup to serve as “soup shooters.”
Add our yummy cheese platter (we supply all the crackers) and a cookie platter, and you’re set!
They didn’t manage to get a photo of the yummy desserts:
Assorted Brownie Bites
They had more than enough food for their guests, and one neighbor commented that the Lemon Dill on a Croissant was amazing.
All of our platters come in easy-to-stack trays and lids that help with transportation during the drive. The platters also make quite a statement when rolling them on a hand truck up the elevator and into the apartment.
These ladies are already hospitable and fun, making the party a success. The delicious food just added to a wonderful evening
The scenery at Schooley’s Mountain Lodge looks beautiful in autumn, making it the perfect location for a bridal shower. We provided the perfect menu with quiches, sandwiches, salads, desserts, and even a mimosa bar!
Decorating the Schooley’s Mountain Lodge
We brought in these beautiful tall lanterns and lots of pumpkins for this fall-themed shower. The lodge was the perfect setting for this cozy bridal shower.
Each table had a small arrangement of gerber daisies in mason jars, plus our delicious chocolate caramel apples (the perfect favor for any autumn event).
Here’s another view of the setup in the lodge. This space can fit up to 150 people with space outside on a porch, as well as an outdoor chapel area for a wedding ceremony! Since this event was not for a wedding, we didn’t visit the chapel, but here are some photos from their website for reference.
Brunch is really the best of both worlds. We featured our delicious quiches — the Spinach Tomato Feta quiche and Primavera Quiche (with zucchini, yellow squash, broccoli, tomatoes, and mozzarella cheese) — and the luncheon catering menu of wraps, sandwiches, and salads. Add a fruit platter, and it’s the perfect party!
Don’ forget dessert! We had some fall flavored macarons (pumpkin, salted caramel, and chocolate), chocolate mousse shooters, cannolis, assorted brownie bites, and mini cupcakes!
The guests loved all the options, and we loved sharing our favorite things with them! The chocolate mousse shooters and macarons are perfect for the gluten free guests. And the assorted brownie bites let you try a few different options.
This is a new favorite for bridal showers. While the host provided the champagne, we brought all the juices and fruit!
For some specialty options, we went beyond orange juice with grapefruit, pineapple, and cranberry juices. Then topped those glasses with strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries!
